An unusual, for me, spider nest in the garden
It's a rather unusual photo but I couldn't help but take a picture.
It's a nest of spiders (it took the camera zooming in to be sure) that are all together as if to shelter from the rain. What strange insects.

Doing some research online I couldn't find much more. At the top of all the results is something that has absolutely nothing to do with it: the book "Il sentiero dei nidi di ragno"Italo Calvino's first novel; who knows if he too was inspired by seeing something similar...
