The reclining Buddha located in Bangkok

The reclining Buddha in Bangkok.
One of the most famous attractions in Bangkok is definitely the reclining Buddha. Obviously I couldn't miss seeing it and photographing it. Despite its grandeur, and the fact that it is covered in gold, it is the details that are most impressive: the hair (which I will write a separate post about), and the feet (and toes). Equally famous is the path of bowls, behind the statue, in which you have to insert a coin without missing any to have good luck.

Also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, its official name is Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Ratchaworamahawihan and it is famous, in addition to its majestic beauty, for being the birthplace of the first school of Thai massage.
