Transparent sea in Monterosso.
Every time I take a trip to the Cinque Terre I am always amazed by the sea at this point in Monterosso.
It is the most photographed place, obviously, especially the large rock that is right in front of the train station.
Here, thanks to the light-colored pebble bottom, the water is almost always crystal clear.
When I took these photos it was late afternoon, perhaps the ideal time for a dip here... when tourists start to leave the small village to return to their accommodation locations.
