The elegant Palazzo San Giorgio facing the port of Genoa.
Going to the Porto Antico of Genoa you cannot help but stop for a moment to see this splendid historic building and its beautiful facade painted with the effigy of San Giorgio defeating the dragon.
In fact, San Giorgio was the patron saint of the Genoese Republic whose cross is still its flag today.
