Strawberry seeds.
Today I enjoyed macro photography of fruit. I had some strawberries at home so here they are.
Despite the large magnification you can see the great softness of this fruit, don't you think?
As I just discovered these seeds are called achenes, I didn't know that!

Although strawberries are considered fruits from a nutritional point of view, they are not from a botanical point of view, as the actual fruits are the so-called achenes, or the yellow seeds that can be seen on the surface of the strawberry.
