The Brignardello portico on the parvis of the Basilica of Santo Stefano in Lavagna.
One of the most photographed places in Lavagna is certainly the parvis of the largest church in the city: Santo Stefano.
On two sides there are houses while on the right side there is this beautiful and large loggia from which you can access the monumental cemetery.
A special feature is that you can climb onto the roof of the portico and take photos from an unusual perspective.

In 1897, the last decorative interventions in the square saw the construction of the marble loggia – known as the Bignardello portico – which thus allowed access, without passing in front of the church, to the monumental cemetery located behind the religious structure.
