The labyrinth carved on the facade of the Cathedral of Lucca.
One of the most photographed and recognized signs of the Cathedral of San Martino in Lucca is this labyrinth and the phrase carved to its right.
There are many hypotheses about its meaning even if the carved phrase refers to the labyrinth of Daedalus.

But what really captures the attention of many visitors is the small labyrinth carved in stone, located in the right pillar of the portico of the facade. This bas-relief figure is one of the most enigmatic in Italy.
