The houses that overlook the churchyard of the church of Santa Croce in Moneglia.
I really like this little square at the end of the alley of the seaside village of Moneglia.
The beautiful churchyard in the typical Ligurian cobblestones (risseu) is guarded by the low and colorful houses also typical of our parts.

According to some sources, the construction of the church may have taken place in 1130, while the parish already existed, according to some scholars, since 1033; in 1043 it became a local parish with a collegiate church of canons. The current church was built with a single nave in 1725 on the remains of the previous structure that collapsed for unknown reasons.
