Leaving the visit of the Cathedral I was fascinated by the bronze door (the 5 o'clock door) which depicts the works of Sant'Ambrogio, the patron saint of the Milanese city, created by the sculptor Giannino Castiglioni.

The second door from the left is the work of Giannino Castiglioni who completed it in December 1950 to commemorate the religious and political work of Sant'Ambrogio in imperial Milan.
