This bright little square at the intersection of Via Edoardo Riboli and Via Montebello, created behind the Sanctuary of Nostra Signora del Carmine (whose bell tower dominates the photo and the square), is also home to the Lavagna Library.

Era un tempo il chiostro dei Carmelitani che avevano il convento dove ora c’è la biblioteca, naturalmente molto rimaneggiato, dopo che è stato sede del municipio, poi delle elementari.
