Un paio di scatti nel centro storico di Chiavari. A passeggio per il centro storico della città di Chiavari scatto sempre moltissime foto che poi piano piano i pubblico qui. Queste due sono state scattate nel caruggio dritto ed in via Rivarola (se non sbaglio).

Piazza Mazzini a Chiavari da sotto i portici del caruggio. Un classico è passeggiare sotto ai portici in caruggio a Chiavari e, quando c’è poca gente in giro, mi piace sempre scattare questa foto della bella piazza Mazzini (anche detta piazza dei coi, dei cavoli) con il palazzo dell’ex Tribunale come sfondo.

The choice of the new architectural style was especially evident in the main streets Ravaschieri and Stefano Rivarola where palaces very similar to other buildings in Genoa were erected or revised. Guglie ed archi del Duomo di Milano. Salendo in cima al duomo si rimane immersi in un labirinto di archi, guglie e merletti in pietra. Uno spettacolo persino difficile da fotografare.

A glimpse of Brugnato, a beautiful Ligurian village. Another beautiful corner of the splendid village, in the province of La Spezia, of Brugnato. A small, very well-kept and well-maintained village located in the Val di Vara that I absolutely recommend you visit.

Between the 7th and 8th centuries, following the conquest of Liguria by the Lombards, the Columban monks of Bobbio, who followed the rule of Saint Columbanus and continued their work of evangelization, built a monastery that over time grew to become a religious and economic nerve center. The birth of Brugnato is therefore linked to the foundation of the abbey which, like other monastic sites in Liguria and northern Italy, depended on the abbey of San Colombano di Bobbio. A beautiful view of the alley of Moneglia in Liguria. The beautiful alley of the village of Moneglia, the last municipality to the east of the province of Genoa. I really like the sbatacchio arch that connects the two buildings at the end.

A colorful alley in the city of Padua. Walking through the city of Padua I walked along this beautiful alley with its arcades and it reminded me a lot of the Ligurian alleys that are so familiar to me. To tell the truth, Padua has a lot of arcades and I discovered that it is the second largest European city for these.

The slam arches in an alley in Brugnato, Liguria Finally, after many years of research, I managed to learn something more about these arches that connect the houses in the narrow and typical alleys of Ligurian villages. Thanks to my friend Marina who finally revealed to me on one of my social media that they are called slam arches and have the function of helping the stability and resistance of buildings especially when they are a short distance from each other. This beautiful alley with several slamming arches is in Brugnato, the beautiful medieval village in the province of La Spezia.
