As long as I can remember, in this building at the end of Corso Colombo, in Sestri Levante, there has been the Ai Pesci Vivi fishmonger's shop with its artistic exterior decoration. On the left there is the fruit and vegetable shop and on the right, once, there was the butcher.

A corner of Via Nazionale in Sestri Levante. An unusual shot of Via Nazionale: without traffic, don't you think? In reality, I took this photo at the end of last year's lockdown when the streets were still deserted. What can I say, you can't see much from this photo of the various activities that take place around the Tomaso Bertollo nursery school (a deputy from the late 19th century), the pink building in the center of the photo. Many activities, when I was a child, no longer exist or have been replaced. There was the 2A stationery shop (where the Due Gabbiani pizzeria is today, even before Mrs. Nasi) to the left of the school, there was Tommasino, the shop that sold seeds and objects for farmers to the right of the school; On the other side of the road there was the florist (where Loris' fruit and vegetable shop is today), the Thea laundrette (now closed), the newsagent's (which is still there although under new management), the small tailor's shop and the Parchi bakery; a little further up there was the Il Genuino rotisserie of the good Maria while here on the right (not in the photo) Mario's dairy. Memories that will slowly fade from my memory too unfortunately!

Acquacoltura a Lavagna. Diverso tempo fa sono stato con la mia macchina fotografica (e il bel teleobiettivo) a Santa Giulia a scattare qualche foto. Veramente volevo immortalare Sestri Levante, e l’ho fatto, ma ho fotografato un po’ tutto quello che vedevo. Queste per esempio sono le reti (o le vasche o non so bene come si chiamano) dell’allevamento di pesci che si trova poco a largo delle coste di Lavagna (o più precisamente di Cavi di Lavagna).

A dire la verità mi rendo conto che non sia proprio uno scatto artistico o che lasci qualcosa a chi lo vede… Rimane come semplice testimonianza di quello che ci sta attorno.

La nuova piscina a Sestri Levante. Con un po’ di ritardo, l’inaugurazione è stata sabato pomeriggio, vi posto qualche foto della nuova piscina, per nuotare, di Sestri. Vedo che tanti visitatori di questa pagina cercano invece la Piscina dei castelli, la discoteca, ma qui si parla di altra attività fisica diversa dal ballare. Veramente le piscine sono due, una scoperta da 50 metri ed una coperta da 25.
