A sushi boat on a ship. Now a global dish, it certainly cannot be missing on board cruise ships. Obviously these shots were taken in the restaurant Sushino now present, I believe, on all Costa ships.

Sushi is a set of typical Japanese dishes based on rice, along with other ingredients such as fish, nori seaweed or eggs. The filling is raw (or in some variants cooked) and can be served placed on rice, rolled in a strip of seaweed, arranged in rice rolls or inserted into a small pocket of tofu. The thúng chèo, the typical Vietnamese boat. Walking along the very long beach of Da Nang, in Vietnam, you come across many of these very characteristic boats whose name is thúng chèo (or Thúng tre or Thúng tre để chèo). They are used by fishermen to carry nets or to fish. In some places they have become an attraction for tourists who rent them for short trips.

A small boat on the Tagus River in Lisbon. I haven't been to Lisbon by ship many times and I've even gone out for a little tour. I have to make do with a few photos I took from the ship like this one of a small sailing boat that ploughs through the waters of the Tagus River estuary right in front of the Portuguese capital.

Lisbon (Portuguese: Lisboa) is the capital and largest city of Portugal. With a census population of 545,923 within its administrative boundaries, and approximately 3 million in its urban area (eleventh in the European Union), it is the most populous city in the country. Located on the western edge of the Iberian Peninsula, at the estuary of the Tagus River (Tejo in Portuguese), it is administratively the capital and geographically the westernmost area of continental Europe. A small leudo with the Ex Convento dell'Annunziata in Sestri in the background. As I often do, I always photograph the Baia del Silenzio and I always try to find some detail with different light or elements. In this case there was a beautiful little boat (which I call a leudo in the title even if I'm not really sure that it is) with the beautiful Ex Convento dell'Annunziata in the background.
Update: as they suggest in the comments it should be a gozzo rivanetto!

Boating on the Mekong River in Vietnam. A very iconic photograph of Vietnam: sitting behind a boatwoman on the Mekong Delta. But it could be similar in many other parts of this country that makes trips along the waterways a great attraction for tourists. As mentioned on the Mekong Delta but also in Ninh Binh or in Ha Long Bay. The peculiarity here was the narrow street and the mud along the banks.
