Le mucche sul Bocco di Bargone.
Quando percorrendo il sentiero chiamato l’Anello di bargone siamo arrivati al piccolo passo chiamato Bocco, abbiamo incontrato qualche mucca che pascolava libera nei piccoli prati lungo la strada.

La vista che si gode dal Bocco di Bargone.
Percorrendo l’anello di Bargone, il sentiero che dal borgo passa dal Monte Treggin e poi dal piccolo passo chiamato Bocco di Bargone, si gode di una splendida vista su Sestri e Riva.

The Bargone Lake along the Monte Treggin path.
Some time ago I went along the beautiful path that goes from Bargone up to Monte Treggin, Roccagrande and then passes by Bocco di Bargone.
Just below the path, in a plain between Bocco, Roccagrande and Treggin, there is this marshy area (one of the few in Liguria), which when I passed by was quite evident!

Lake Bargone, also known as Stagno della Roccagrande, is an interesting wetland located in the upper valley of the Petronio stream, behind Sestri Levante.

The view from the top of Monte Treggin.
From its height of eight hundred meters, Monte Treggin offers a spectacular view of Casarza Ligure and Sestri Levante.
This is the view from the highest point. Too bad it wasn't a very clear day and the sky was very black.

The top of Monte Treggin.
One of the highest mountains and from which you can see the most beautiful view of Sestri Levante is Monte Treggin (870 meters).
To get there there are various paths; among all the possible ones I decided to take the one that starts from the town of Bargone.
Once you reach the top there is a beautiful crest with a beautiful ravine on top of which there is a cross.
Exceptional view!

Bargone, a hamlet of Casarza Ligure.
A black and white panorama of Bargone, a hamlet of Casarza Ligure known above all for the annual strawberry festival, a rather popular summer festival, and for the bargonello, a breeze so called by the inhabitants of the valley because it seems to come from the mountains behind the town.

The town of Bargone has much to offer both for those who have chosen to live here and for those who are guests only for a short period: it is very beautiful to walk along the ancient paths and immerse yourself in the rural landscape, which shows itself with ever-changing views and colors, provoking sensations of strong intensity, or to stroll through the streets of the historic center where there are numerous testimonies of the centuries-old presence of man, but as many believe everything becomes more appreciable if, alongside the cultural and naturalistic excursions, some gastronomic stops are included.
