In this panorama I photographed, with the telephoto lens, the village of Carro perched longitudinally around the church of San Lorenzo of which you can clearly see the bell tower.

The village, of Roman origin, was an ancient religious possession of the vicariate of Framura until the fiefdom passed first to the Estensi, in the 11th century, and then to the Malaspina; the latter ceded the feudal property to the Da Passano family at the behest of the diocese of Brugnato.
