Descending from the path that from San Fruttuoso di Camogli arrives in Portofino there are several points where you can enjoy a splendid view of the village of Portofino.
From one of these points I took this photo of the beautiful little church that dominates the entire marina.

According to a plaque inside the church, the building was erected in Romanesque style in 1154 although further excavations have allowed the discovery of an ancient square-plan chapel dating back perhaps to the time of the Lombards in Liguria when the monks of San Colombano operated there.

Scattata dal sagrato della chiesa di San Giorgio, leggermente in alto rispetto alla piazza, mostra tutta la piazzetta e alcuni yacht veramente invidiabili.

The best way to appreciate the wonders of the park is to safely walk along its most characteristic and fascinating paths, all adequately marked. By crossing the dense network of over 60 km, it is possible to discover the richness and variety of the natural environments, panoramas and complex monuments of the promontory.
