One of the most famous sculptures in the world. The original is inside the Uffizi, this is a copy in the Piazza della Signoria (also in Florence).

David is a famous sculpture, made of marble (height 517 cm including the base of 107 cm) by Michelangelo Buonarroti, datable between 1501 and the beginning of 1504 and preserved in the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. Widely considered a masterpiece of world sculpture, it is one of the emblems of the Renaissance, as well as a symbol of Florence and Italy abroad.
