Walking through the center of Lavagna I discovered the building of this foundation, the Divina Provvidenza Cordeviola, which has been helping children with family problems for a long time.

The building of the Institute for Baliatico in Chiavari.
I have always been intrigued by the writing on this building in Viale Garibaldi in Chiavari and only while preparing this post did I discover what Baliatico is.
Baliatico is an institute that tries to provide assistance to children up to three years old whose families are in financial difficulty and it is an institution that has been active for more than a hundred years, since 1921.
