The splendid Pisan Romanesque style church located where the Roman forum once stood, whose façade is dominated by the statue of the winged Saint Michael.

A legend from Lucca tells that in particular light conditions it is possible to see a green sparkle coming from the statue; it would be, according to the legend, an emerald, set in ancient times and never found. Some sources, mostly from elderly inhabitants of the city, confirm having seen the phantom sparkle, but it has never been proven that an emerald is set in the work, which is also highly unlikely.

These were taken in the complex of the City of Arts and Sciences and it is an area, freely accessible, where you can immerse yourself in pools, fountains and above all the lines of these futuristic constructions famous throughout the world.

It is an architectural complex composed of five different structures, divided into three thematic areas: art, science and nature. It is located in Valencia, Spain, on the old, now moved, bed of the Turia river and covers a surface area of ​​350,000 m2. Designed by architects Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, and begun in July 1996, it is an example of organic architecture, which thanks to cutting-edge construction qualities manages to harmonize the elements with the contents, while allowing the Mediterranean tradition of the sea and light to shine through through a play of colors between the blue of the large open-air ponds and the white of the concrete.

Uno dei luoghi esotici per eccellenza Bali, in Indonesia, stupisce per la natura che sembra ancora incontaminata.

Eccovi una delle foto di Kagoshima in Giappone, scattate diverso tempo fa dall’amico Checco.
Kagoshima è un’isola vulcanica giapponese a pochi chilometri dal vulcano attivo Sakurajima.
Detta anche la “Napoli del Giappone” per la somiglianza (paesaggistica) con la città partenopea. Le due città hanno infatti anche un gemellaggio.

La settimana scorso sono stato, con alcuni colleghi, a visitare le Cantine Ferrari per un workshop legato alla partnership tra la mia società e loro.
Un’esperienza unica nella casa di una delle eccellenze italiane e mondiali.
Eccellenza dimostrata dalla stessa famiglia Lunelli, che ci ha accolti e coccolati in questa esperienza.

Il famosissimo isolotto tirale (che si unisce e distacca dalla terraferma a seconda delle maree) francese su cui sorge lo splendido santuario dedicato a San Michele Arcangelo.

La baia in cui sorge l’isolotto roccioso è soggetta al fenomeno delle sabbie mobili, descritte da Victor Hugo, ma è soprattutto nota per l’eccezionale ampiezza delle maree (circa 14 metri di dislivello) che, anche a causa dell’andamento piatto, montano con grande rapidità (si dice con la velocità di un cavallo al galoppo): questo ha causato talvolta annegamenti e più di frequente disagi per le automobili lasciate parcheggiate troppo a lungo nelle parti più basse. Le maree della baia hanno molto contribuito all’inespugnabilità del monte, rendendolo accessibile al minimo della bassa marea (via terra) o al massimo dell’alta marea (via mare).
