Rappresenta, credo, una madonnina ma con le fattezze ed i lineamenti asiatici.

Il museo Jean P. Haydon di Pago Pago.
Nella piccola cittadina di Pago Pago, nelle Samoa Americane, c’è anche un piccolo museo che raccoglie alcuni artefatti antichi che mostrano la storia del popolo Mahori e dei suoi rudimentali e semplici strumenti di vita. Pesca soprattutto.

Non ci sono molti articoli sul museo se non la scarna pagina su Wikipedia and on TripAdvisor.

One of the most typical souvenirs of Casablanca are definitely these small wooden objects.
Fragrant and well made even if, as for those already photographed and posted, I doubt very much about the local production!

La tradizione dei Cristi

La tradizione dei Cristi.
Una delle tradizioni che in estate trova il massimo splendore sono le processioni delle confraternite con i classici Cristi ignei, alcuni pesantissimi ed enormi, altri un po’ più leggeri.
Il momento più difficile? Il cambio del portatore… ma lo sapete già tutti!
Dimenticavo, la processione fotografata era quella dei primi di luglio a Rapallo.
