The street lamps in via Asilo Maria Teresa in Sestri Levante. Walking and taking pictures around my Sestri I try to alternate classic photos, of the Baia del Silenzio and the alley, with more unusual ones. In this case the street lamps installed on the wall of Villa Balbi that illuminate via Asilo Maria Teresa.

La Baia delle Favole a Sestri Levante in notturna. Mi piacciono molto le foto in notturna ma ammetto di non essere così bravo a realizzarle. Prima di tutto perchè non ho mai il cavalletto, e devo sempre appoggiare la macchina su qualche oggetto e poi perchè non ho mai la pazienza di provare e riprovare fino a trovare le regolazioni migliori. Passeggiando in Baia delle Favole a Sestri Levante, una sera d’estate, ho provato a scattare un paio di foto.

The colorful lanterns of Hoi An in Vietnam. One of the symbolic places of Vietnam is the small town of Hoi An whose streets are famous for the small houses overlooking the water and, above all, for the tradition of lanterns. As soon as it gets dark, in fact, thousands of these lanterns are lit and the streets, always full of tourists, light up with a thousand colors. Obviously you can buy them as souvenirs and even if the traditional ones are covered in paper, some are made in such a fine way that tourists can take them home without damaging them.

Dragon Bridge a Da Nang. Uno dei simboli della citta’ vietnamita e’ questo ponte, aperto al traffico nel 2013, oggetto delle foto notturne di tutti i turisti. La sera si illumina con migliaia di luci che cambiano gradazione. Proprio vicino poi c’e’ una bella passeggiata, lungo il fiume, dalla quale e’ possibile vederlo e fotografarlo in tutta la sua bellezza. A quanto mi e’ stato detto diverse citta’ vietnamite avevano fatto a gara per poterlo installare ma poi Da Nang ha vinto la sfida.

La Baia delle Favole by night. Le fotografie notturne hanno sempre un qualcosa di spettacolare. Se poi il soggetto è la mia Sestri Levante in una serata di fine primavera (sarebbe da dire quasi estate ma il tempo, ahimè, non lo conferma ancora) la foto è per forza bellissima!
