Spiagge da sogno: Maho Bay ai Caraibi.
Quasi un anno fa ero in questa splendida spiaggia, quasi da sogno, nell’isola di St Martins.
La spiaggia veramente è famosissima più che per la sabbia ed il mare, per il fatto che è situata alla fine della pista di atterraggio dell’aeroporto dell’isola.
Ma comunque la spiaggia è veramente da sogno!

Frequent visitors to Maho Beach often stop in the middle of the beach to escape the strong winds caused by the engines of departing planes. To prevent the risk of injuries and/or deaths, the local government has moved the airport area fences away from the runway threshold, in addition to placing signs warning of the danger.

Mare da sogno: acqua a Maho Bay.
E’ una delle spiagge piu’ famose dell’isola caraibica di Saint Martin nota per gli aerei che la sorvolano a distanza ravvicinata.
Ma non e’ solo per quello: in realta’ la sabbia e’ bianchissima e l’acqua del classico turchese da sogno.
Un centinaio di metri si sabbia con da un lato bar e ristoranti, dall’altro un grande resort e alle spalle la pista dell’aeroporto internazionale.
