One of the most famous violins in the world is the one preserved in the Strada Nuova Museums in Genoa and belonged to the famous Genoese artist of the 17th century.
It is an instrument, according to experts, unparalleled and has a charm that conquers you just by looking at it, I imagine just by hearing it played...

The circumstances that led Paganini to acquire the Cannone are not yet historically certain: the musicologist Edward Neill indicated as the most probable hypothesis that the Genoese violinist had received the instrument in 1802 in Livorno as a gift from a certain Livron, a French gentleman.

This beautiful palace which you arrive at by finishing the tour of the Museums of Strada Nuova that I visited for the first time right when I took this photo.
