La baia del centro di Mykonos con le case affacciate sul mare

The bay in the center of Mykonos with the houses overlooking the sea.
The small bay that overlooks the main town of the island of Mykonos is very pretty.
It is not a bay suitable for swimming (except for a small strip of sand used only by a few tourists who do not have time to move) and contains, with the artificial extension of the small port, the few fishermen's boats.
All the little restaurants and bars that welcome the thousands of tourists who come to visit the famous Greek island in the summer overlook this bay.

Alcuni cuscini come souvenir a Mykonos

Alcuni tipici cuscini come souvenir a Mykonos, in Grecia.
Oltre ad essere un isola dalle molte spiagge e dalla vita notturna sfrenata a me piace passeggiare nei vicoli del borgo principale dell’isola per immergermi nei colori che sono cosi tipici della Grecia.
Ovviamente ci sono quasi solamente negozietti per turisti ma sono tutti curati e molto originali.
Come in questo, appena dietro alla Little Venice, che vende cuscini… ovviamente che richiamano all’occhio greco (Nazar).

The beautiful Little Venice of Mykonos.
A fantastic place, the small neighborhood of Mykonos overlooking the sea with the windmills behind it.
I already have several photos of Little Venice but every time I can't help but photograph it.

Nodi in un ristorante a Mykonos

Nodi in un ristorante a Mykonos.
Oltre che essere una bella isola greca con tantissime belle spiagge e anche un luogo dove si puo’ far baldoria fino al mattino, Mykonos e’ anche un posto dove rilassarsi e mangiare in ristoranti e ristorantini romantici e caratteristici.
Questo era proprio nel centro del dedalo di viuzze e credo che sia uno dei piu’ famosi (anche se purtroppo non so il nome perche’ ero solo di passaggio e non vi ho mangiato).
La scenografia, se cosi’ si puo’ chiamare era molto bella con quelle funi e quei nodi pendolanti sui tavoli.

Little Venice a Mykonos.
Non e’ la prima foto di questo posto che metto qui ma e’ sempre un soggetto splendido da fotografare.
Queste casette bianche sul mare, ricolme di ristorantini e bar romantici, ricordano molto la nostra Venezia.

Vicoletti di Mykonos infiorati

Vicoletti di Mykonos infiorati.
Un paio di giorni fa sono riuscito a scendere a terra e a fare un giretto nel centro della sempre splendida Mykonos.
In questi giorni dei bei fiori rosa abbelliscono i vicoletti della cittadina greca.

Micono è un’isola cosmopolita che accoglie migliaia di turisti durante tutto l’arco dell’anno. L’isola era considerata come il paradiso della comunità LGBT, ma in seguito si presterà a diventare la “capitale” estiva della tolleranza in genere.
L’isola dà il nome a un formaggio caratteristico, il Kopanisti Mykonou di sapore forte e salato.

Risotto con aragosta gustato in Grecia.
Ieri sono riuscito ad uscire a pranzo a Mykonos e mi sono gustato un buon risotto con sugo di aragosta.
Un po’ troppe verdurine per i miei gusti ma comunque molto buono.

L’aragosta mediterranea (Palinurus elephas Fabricius, 1787) è un crostaceo dell’ordine Decapoda che vive nei fondali del mar Mediterraneo e dell’oceano Atlantico orientale.
Ha una taglia medio-grande con una lunghezza media di 20–40 cm e massima di 50 cm ed un peso fino a 8 kg. Il corpo è di forma sub-cilindrica, rivestito da una corazza che durante la crescita cambia diverse volte per ricrearne una nuova.
