The spectacular view from the top of Monte Zatta.
Some time ago, now, I had been walking along the circular path of Monte Zatta.
One of the most beautiful walks that I remember having done with, at the top, the spectacular view that can be enjoyed from the top!

The summit of the Zatta mountain massif consists of a long wavy ridge, crossed by an easy ridge path. On the outer edges of this ridge are the Zatta di Ponente mountain (1355 m) and the Prato Pinello mountain (1390 m). Between the two ends rises the main peak, the Zatta di Levante mountain (1404 m). The southern slope is steep and stony, while the northern slope, towards the Bocco pass, has a gentler slope and is covered by a large beech forest.

Some time ago I walked the splendid path of Monte Zatta starting from Passo del Bocco.
One of the most beautiful paths I have ever walked.
At the top there was this tree with all these clouds behind it that looked like a carpet!
I took two photos: in color and in black and white.

I raggi del sole tra le nuvole da Portobello.
Qualche tempo fa ormai avevo scattato queste belle foto dei raggi del sole che filtravano da una densa coltre di nuvole appena dietro alla Penisola di Sestri Levante.
Mi piaceva proprio tanto il contrasto tra il chiaro e scuro.

Sestri Levante vista dall’alto.
Ogni tanto, con il cane, mi piace passeggiare lungo la via dei Cachi (quella strada che parte dal Parco Mandela) e si arrampica quasi al sentiero che porta alla Mandrella.
Continuando sul sentiero si attraversano dei bellissimi ulivi e si può godere, anche se per un piccolo tratto, di una bellissima vista su Sestri.

The rays of sunshine from Portobello.
After several days of constant rain, a couple of days ago we started to see some rays of sunshine even in Sestri Levante.
So I loaded my camera on my shoulders and went to take some photos in the Bay of Silence.
The rays of an almost setting sun, struggling to make their way through the clouds, filled my eyes!
I still have other photos, similar, that I will publish another time.

La Baia del Silenzio il 13 maggio 2020.
Il mio soggetto preferito, quando sono a casa, è la Baia del Silenzio.
La amo fotografare in tutte le maniere ed in tutte le giornate: ha sempre fascino.
Qui eravamo a metà maggio, in una giornata uggiosa di quasi fine lockdown. Erano i primi giorni in cui si potevano fare delle passeggiate all’aperto all’interno del territorio del proprio comune.
Fortunato me!

Baia delle Favole il 3 agosto 2020.
Lo avevano annunciato questo temporale odierno ed è arrivato.
Questa è la Baia delle Favole di Sestri Levante questa mattina.
Ho cercato di catturare qualche lampo ma non c’è stato verso e poi avevo la batteria scarica…
Comunque sta continuando a tuonare magari mi rifaccio nel pomeriggio.

The dam behind the Convent of the Annunziata.
A couple of days ago I took some photos of the Baia del Silenzio but I also went to the terrace of the Convent of the Annunziata and from there I pointed the lens towards the horizon and that small dam of rocks that protects the complex.
Obviously everything is made very fascinating by the clouds and the waves rippled by the wind. The long exposure and the HDR do the rest.

Nuvole dall’aereo.
Qualche tempo fa, in viaggio nel cielo del Vietnam, ho fotografato queste nuvole dall’oblo’ del volo su cui ero.
E’ sempre una cosa che amo fare anche se il piu’ delle volte sono sfortunato e mi tocca sempre il sedile nella zona delle ali… e non vedo niente…
