Fried egg with black truffle.
One of the simplest dishes that can be made with truffle is definitely the fried egg (sunny side up) sprinkled with truffle (in this case black summer truffle) and nothing more.
I don't think there's any need to write the recipe for it because it's incredibly simple.

Some species of truffle are an extremely valuable, sought-after and expensive food essence; other species are instead considered of little value or, sometimes, even slightly toxic. In any case, truffles give off a typical penetrating and persistent scent that develops only when ripe and that has the purpose of attracting wild animals (pigs, wild boars, badgers, dormice, foxes), despite the earth cover, to spread the spores contained and perpetuate the species. These hypogeal fruits are identified with the help of dogs, or pigs, and collected by hand.

Hamburger alla Bismarck.
Un ottimo hamburger di manzo, appoggiato su una fettina di pane in cassetta con una fetta di bacon ed un uovo all’occhio di bue.
A dire la verità non sono sicuro che questo sia il nome ufficiale ma comunque, ogni cibo cotto e servito con un uovo fritto sopra (bistecca in primis ma anche la piazza è molto comune) si sente chiamare alla Bismarck dal nome di Otto Von, il primo cancelliere dell’Impero tedesco.
Facile da preparare e molto soddisfacente.

Non ci sono molte informazioni precise sulle origini della “bistecca alla Bismarck”, la fetta di carne che viene servita coperta da un uovo fritto. Pare che Bismarck fosse un grande amante delle carni rosse e che fosse altrettanto ghiotto di uova.

Breakfast with bacon and eggs.
A classic (non-Italian) breakfast is made with bacon and eggs and a couple of slices of toast.
In reality, some elements are missing to be a typical English breakfast: a sausage, a grilled tomato and some potatoes are missing... to tell the truth, the bacon is raw ham passed in a pan.
Well, not exactly a classic breakfast but really excellent!

Uova all'occhio di bue

Uova all’occhio di bue.
Non avevo mai scattato una foto ad un paio di uova.
Ecco che colmo la lacuna con un paio (biologiche, nel senso che arrivano direttamente dalle galline di amici dei miei) cotte in padella con un filo d’olio d’oliva.
Semplici e buonissime! Vi piacciono all’occhio di bue?
