The lines of Largo Cairoli in Milan

Le linee di Largo Cairoli a Milano

The lines of Largo Cairoli in Milan.
Walking through the center of Milan I came across this point where there were many lines (tracks, electric cables, poles, roads) that caught my attention.
I was in Largo Cairoli in the direction of via Cusani.

Here is the spot where I took these photos:

He was a Garibaldian, political refugee and anti-Austrian conspirator, member of Parliament, President of the Italian Council of Ministers in the periods 24 March 1878 – 19 December 1878 and 14 July 1879 – 29 May 1881. He died in Naples in 1889 and is buried in the city of Gropello Cairoli, in the province of Pavia.

A wooden jetty at Brownie Beach in Barbados

Pontile a Barbados

A wooden pier at Brownie Beach in Barbados.
One of the iconic photos of this Caribbean island and the splendid Brownes Beach in Carlisle Bay.
The water and sand on this beach, as I told you in another post, are truly incredible.
Right in the center of the bay there is this wooden pier, used to let tourists get on one of the many boats that take them to see the turtles.
The ritual photos are a must!

Here is a video recorded on this beautiful beach:

Videos recorded with Gopro Hero 10 Black.

The name of this Antillean state was coined in 1536 by the Portuguese explorer Pedro A. Campos who called the island Os Barbados (the bearded ones) inspired by the ficus trees that grew there and whose long aerial roots looked like “beards”. The name that the Arawak natives attributed to the island was Ichirouganaim.

Cavi elettrici esposti

Cavi elettrici esposti

Cavi elettrici esposti.
