Il moderno fronte mare di Malaga in Spagna.
Pur non essendo mai uscito una volta in questa bella città spagnola, eppure mi ci sono fermato decine di volte, qualche tempo fa mi sono armato ti macchina fotografica e, come ogni tanto faccio, ho scattato alcune foto dai ponti più alti della nave.
Ho trovato un fronte mare moderno e pieno di grattacieli!

Malaga è un comune della Spagna di 579076 abitanti, situato nella comunità autonoma dell’Andalusia, nel sud della Spagna. Capoluogo dell’omonima provincia, la città costituisce la capitale culturale ed economica della Costa del Sol. Nonostante nella regione siano state trovate tracce di presenza umana fin dalla preistoria (dolmen a Peña de los Enamorados nel comune di Antequera, pitture rupestri a Benaoján, ceramiche a Nerja), Malaga deve le sue origini al fatto di essere stata una delle colonie fondate dai fenici di Tiro intorno al VII secolo a.C. lungo il Mediterraneo occidentale.

Mi rilassa sempre percorrere Lungomare Descalzo, la passeggiata, della mia cittadina.
Poi di mattina, magari in un bella giornata soleggiata di inverno, fa ancora più piacere.

Sailor, fisherman, farmer, worker at the Fabbrica Italiana Tubi and finally municipal employee, he is the author of novels (Esclusi, 1937 and Tutti i giorni, 1950), lyrical prose (Interpretazioni, 1933) and, for newspapers and magazines, hundreds of stories (many of them for children), articles and travel reports sometimes collected in volumes (Sotto copertina, 1933; La terra dei fossili vivere, 1938; Scogliere, 1940; Santuari, vallate e calanche della Liguria orientale, 1941; Le cinque terre, 1943 and Ai quattro venti, 1943). From 1930 until the last days of his life he kept a diary of which the initial part relating to the years 1930 and 1932 has been published, at the initiative of the Municipality of his city.

La passeggiata di Sant'Anna a Sestri Levante

La passeggiata di Sant’Anna a Sestri Levante.
La parte più a Ponente della passeggiata di Sestri è quella che più è cambiata nel corso degli anni.
Diversi anni fa era un camminamento a picco sul mare che stava ad una decina di metri al di sopra delle famigerate Piscine di Sant’Anna (un tratto di mare racchiuso da una diga di scogli).
Negli anni 2000, a seguito di importanti lavori, è stato modificato tutto il tratto di passeggiata ed in questo momento si cammina sopra ad un parcheggio interrato davanti alla nuova spiaggia di Sant’Anna.

Palazzo Descalzo in passeggiata a Sestri Levante.
Secondo me uno dei palazzi più belli del centro storico di Sestri Levante con la torre (detta appunto Torre Descalzo) appartenuto, se non erro, alla famiglia del poeta sestrese.
Sicuramente uno degli scatti più gettonati della passeggiata a mare sestrese.

Rimembranza avenue on a walk in Sestri Levante.
The road that runs parallel to the seafront promenade of Sestri takes on different toponyms depending on the stretch.
It goes from Lungomare Giovanni Descalzo (in the stretch from Sant’Anna to the height of Piazza Italia) then continues on Via Vittorio Veneto (from Piazza Italia to the Grand’Albergo) then Viale Rimembranza (from the Tritone bar to the roundabout of Piazza Matteotti) to end with Via Pilade Queirolo (from Piazza Matteotti to the port).
This is, with little depth of field, the stretch that runs in front of Villa Balbi.

The cycle path towards Celeste in Sestri Levante.
Even if the pavement is not always perfectly maintained, a ride along the cycle path, along the seafront in Sestri Levante, is always a panacea for the spirit.
Moving under the umbrellas created by the branches of the maritime pines and the sea at your side is priceless.
Here we are at the height of Bagni Celeste (but also La Lampara, La Battiglia and Lido).

The beautiful seafront promenade of Zoagli, a beautiful village in Liguria.
One of the most beautiful seafront promenades in the Gulf of Tigullio is certainly that of Zoagli.
From the central beach you can walk, to the east or west for a few hundred meters, a few meters from the sea.
Here and there you can find some small inlets and pebble beaches where you can swim.
One of the routes (together with the promenade of Framura, which however is not in the Tigullio) not to be missed in the Levante Ligure.

Here is where the village beach is located:

A well-known and appreciated seaside resort, it is famous for its pedestrian cliff overlooking the sea, built in the 1930s with the economic contribution of the inhabitants; in the Zoagli area there are also several natural woodland paths, the characteristic Ligurian crêuze, and mule tracks that allow you to reach the hamlets and localities of the municipality from the city centre.

A few months ago, many I would say, I took a stroll along the beautiful edge of Deiva Marina.
I took several photos, thanks to the splendid day of warm autumn sunshine, also along the seafront promenade where the benches with their refined design made a beautiful effect.

The bust of Giovanni Descalzo on a walk in Sestri

The bust in memory of Giovanni Descalzo on the promenade in Sestri Levante.
On the seaside promenade in Sestri, at the height of the Celeste, there is a bust in memory of one of the plump characters of my town: the poet Giovanni Descalzo.
From that point it dominates the whole Baia delle Favole at the point where the road is called Lungomare Descalzo.
