The beautiful and ancient Piazza delle Erbe in the center of Verona.
When visiting Verona there are three attractions that no one can miss and which are all in the center.
We start with the Arena, the very famous Roman amphitheater and from there, through the historic center we go to look for Juliet Capulet's terrace.
Along the way we pass by the beautiful and ancient Piazza delle Erbe with its medieval buildings built on the Roman ones.

Se siete di passaggio nella bella città di Padova non potete mancare di visitare il centro storico e, tappa obbligata è, piazza delle Erbe con il suo celeberrimo Palazzo della Ragione.
I suoi portici e le tre schiere di archi lo rendono riconoscibilissimo.

The Palazzo della Ragione (also called Salone, by synecdoche) was the ancient seat of the city courts and the covered market of Padua. The lower part already existed in 1166, but it is estimated that it was erected between 1218 and 1219, and between 1306 and 1309 Giovanni degli Eremitani added the portico and the loggias and raised the roof to which he gave the characteristic shape of an upturned ship's hull.

The frescoes of the buildings overlooking Piazza delle Erbe in Verona.
One of the most famous squares in the city of Verona is precisely Piazza delle Erbe with its beautiful buildings.
On this side there was the Campidoglio that looked towards the forum and whose buildings, obviously more modern, are very particular because they still maintain the colored frescoes of the facade.

The delle Erbe square in the alleys of Genoa

Piazza delle Erbe in the alleys of Genoa.
One of the liveliest squares in the historic center of Genoa even if the moment of the shot was not exactly the right time to find it full of people.
To begin with we were in the yellow zone (so with little movement of people) and then it was Sunday afternoon (and the square is definitely more lively during the night hours normally).
In any case, a very beautiful square whose buildings, all with beautiful colors of the facades, seem to enclose its history.
