Corniglia Beach

Spiaggia di Corniglia

Corniglia Beach.
If you have undertaken the Cinque Terre walk you will surely have started from Monterosso, taking the first path, up to Vernazza. From Vernazza you will then have taken the second path up to Corniglia.
At this point you will be sweaty and hot and unfortunately the subsequent paths, those that lead to Manarola and Riomaggiore, are closed.
I, once, have been to the beach of Guvano (which is a nudist beach) but now it seems no longer possible to reach it.
Solution? Continue along the path that once reached Manarola and, if you are a little reckless, using the “illegal” ladder that was present yesterday, reach the beautiful stone beach that is under the train retaining wall.

This is the photo of the sea there:

I would like to point out that the beach is not sandy and, although there are no signs prohibiting swimming or access, I believe that the guides do not recommend swimming there.
