It was with the Republic of Genoa that Lerici began to assume a more important role. Un vicoletto di Ostuni. Uno dei vicoli caratteristici della cittadina di Ostuni, la Città Bianca in Puglia. Strade strette, scale, porte di casa, persiane: tutto questo è lo spettacolo che migliaia di turisti vedono visitando questo splendido borgo che nulla ha da invidiare ad altre cittadine bianche come Mykonos o Ibiza. Ormai è diverso tempo che ho scattato questa immagine ma mi piace tenerne sempre qualcuna carina da pubblicare nei tempi di “magra”.

Traversa della Salita al Castello di Chiavari. There are many places that I still don't know and that I haven't photographed yet. Like the Castello di Chiavari and the road (which gives the name to the post) that goes down from there. A beautiful area of Chiavari with beautiful buildings and beautiful villas.

A steep staircase in Fansipan, Vietnam. This photo was taken from the top of the highest mountain in Vietnam and all of Indochina. I've already posted a few photos here and there and I really liked this one. At more than three thousand meters above sea level, Asia was really rarefied and it was hard to climb these stairs. Luckily there was a rack railway to get almost to the top.

Fansipan tra le nuvole. Alcuni dei monumenti presenti sulla montagna più alta del Vietnam e dell’Indocina avvolta dalle nuvole. E’ stata una salita molto affascinante che da Sa Pa porta fino agli oltre tremila metri della montagna. Da qui si vede la scalinata che porta alla cima, i tetti della pagoda, uno stupa a più piani ed in fondo, se guardate bene, una statua enorme di Buddha (di cui farò un post separato).

Il centro storico di Sperlonga in provincia di Latina. Sperlonga è una cittadina costruita a picco sul mare sul litorale della provincia di Latina, molto apprezzata sia per le spiagge lunghe e sabbiose sia per il suo elegantissimo centro storico, conservato quasi intatto nei secoli.
Il centro storico di Sperlonga è costruito secondo un percorso verticale, motivo per cui le palazzine che lo compongono sono un susseguirsi di scale e passaggi interni che rendono il luogo bizzarro, quasi unico nel suo genere. Le vie passano all’interno delle mura, dentro cui sono costruiti molti appartamenti, ma ogni tanto durante il percorso si apre qualche piazzetta, come quella da cui ho scattato questa foto.

Sperlonga sorge su uno sperone di roccia, la parte finale dei monti Aurunci, che si protende nel mar Tirreno e nel golfo di Gaeta confluendo nel monte di San Magno. Il territorio circostante è perlopiù pianeggiante. La spiaggia di fine e dorata sabbia bianca si alterna a vari speroni di roccia che si gettano in mare, formando calette meravigliose, spesso raggiungibili solo in barca. Queste formazioni rocciose sono presenti a sud della cittadina, in direzione del promontorio di Gaeta. Continua ed approfondisci su Wikipedia
