A nice plate of tagliolini with scampi and asparagus.
Some time ago I had dinner at the Piedigrotta pizzeria in Genoa and I tasted this excellent dish with scampi and asparagus.
I had never tasted this successful combination, I must say.

Asparagus is a herbaceous and perennial plant that grows up to 100-150 cm in height, with sturdy stems and very branched foliage. The plant has rhizomes, modified stems that grow underground forming a network; from them branch out the shoots, or the young, epigeal and edible shoots of the plant.
