Mare da sogno: Grand Anse a Grenada.
Una delle spiagge piu’ belle dell’isola di Grenada e forse di tutti i Caraibi.
Peccato solamente che nell’unico giorno in cui ci sono andato il cielo non era limpidissimo e di conseguenza le foto non rendono appieno la bellezza della spiaggia e del mare.

The most popular beaches are located in the southwest of the island, where the airport is also located. In this area is Grand Anse Beach, a 3 km long beach considered one of the 10 most beautiful in the world.

Mare da sogno: Dickenson Bay ad Antigua.
Una delle spiagge più belle dei Caraibi è sicuramente questa ad Antigua.
A dire la verità da qualche parte avevo letto che in questa isola ci sono 365 spiagge, una diversa per ogni giorno dell’anno; chiesa se è vero.
Io ne ho visitate solo un paio ed erano entrambe splendide.
Spero, un giorno, di poter visitare le rimanenti 363!

Antigua is an island in the Lesser Antilles, belonging to the State of Antigua and Barbuda. It has a surface area of 280 km² and a population of approximately 80,161 inhabitants. The capital of the island is Saint John's, which is also the national capital.

Spiagge da sogno: Great Bay a St Maarten.
Una delle spiagge piu belle dei Caraibi e forse una delle più famose.
Diversi anni fa c’ero gia’ stato ma non ero riuscito a scattare delle foto cosi’ belle.
La spiaggia e’ veramente un sogno, spero ve ne rendiate conto dalla foto.

Sint Maarten is a constituent nation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which includes three other nations: the Netherlands and the Caribbean states of Aruba and Curaçao. The territory is made up of the southern part of the island of Saint Martin, located in the southern Caribbean Sea. The capital is Philipsburg. Sint Maarten borders to the north with Saint-Martin, an overseas collectivity dependent on France, whose territory makes up the northern part of the island.

Mare e spiaggia da sogno ad Antigua.
Una immagine emblematica del mio ultimo contratto sulla Costa Magica: un mare e una spiaggia da sogno.
Questa, in particolare, era Dickenson’s Bay nella mia particolare classifica delle spiagge piu’ belle che ho visitato ai Caraibi al secondo posto dietro a Barbados.
Come potete vedere, senza aggiustamenti di colore o hdr, l’acqua era proprio turchese e la sabbia… quasi borotalco!

Spiagge da sogno: Dickenson Bay ad Antigua.
Una delle spiagge piu’ belle e famose di Antigua e di tutti i Caraibi e’ questa.
Forse, qualche visitatore piu’ esperto di me (e con piu’ tempo a disposizione) potrebbe contestare questa mia frase iniziale ma io ho sempre i tempi molto ristretti e difficilmente ho la possibilita’ di andare molto lontano dal porto in cui la mia nave e’ ferma.
Nonostante questo, appena ho le mie orette libere, cerco sempre di godermi questi paradisi terrestri e questo ne era uno.
Sabbia bianca (anche se devo ammettere che per il momento la piu’ bianca l’ho trovata a Barbados) e mare turchese, marchio di fabbrica dei Caraibi e dei sogni!

Mare da sogno: onda caraibica a Tortola

Mare da sogno: onda caraibica a Tortola.
Una foto che racchiude il mare dei Caraibi: sabbia bianca o dorata e acque limpide o turchesi.
Qui, in particolare, ero a Tortola (Virgin British Island) nella spiaggia di Long Bay beach.
Ho rischiato quasi la mia macchinetta fotografica per scattare questa foto perche’ l’onda si e’ franta talmente velocemente che gli spruzzi hanno quasi sommerso la mia piccola Canon.

Spiagge da sogno: Sa Punta ad Ibiza

Spiagge da sogno: Sa Punta ad Ibiza.
Questa è una delle spiagge, anche se è una scogliera, più belle di Ibiza.
Appena vicino alla spiaggia lunga di Talamanca, questo tratto di costa roccioso, è uno dei luoghi più belli, non sabbiosi, in cui ho fatto il bagno ad Ibiza.
Poco ditro alla punta principale poi c’era una piccola spiaggetta alla quale però si arriva, credo, solo dal mare.
Bellissima comunque.

Mattinata uggiosa a Sestri Levante.
Questa mattina in Baia del Silenzio tra pioggia e mare leggermente mosso.
Purtroppo il cattivo tempo non sembra voler lasciare in pace la nostra Liguria. Oggi piove un pochino di meno ma comunque è sempre molto uggioso.

Case in Baia del Silenzio il 5 settembre 2019.
Le case che fanno da cornice alla baia più famosa della Liguria detta anche Portobello.
Mi piacciono le forme ed i colori, tipici del Levante ligure.
Devo dire poi che le ie ultime foto mi piacciono proprio molto per la loro qualità, voi che ne dite?

The trail left by the great ship

The trail left by the great ship.
When the ship leaves a port there is nothing more relaxing than sitting at the stern and watching the wake left by the ship.
this was the stern of the Costa Fascinosa just left Savona last week.

Costa Fascinosa is a cruise ship of the Genoa-based Costa Crociere company. It was ordered in October 2007 and built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera. It entered service on 5 May 2012. The names Costa Fascinosa and Costa Favolosa were selected through a competition. The choice of names was guided by approximately 40,000 travel agents in over 40 countries, who submitted more than 16,000 possible pairs of names for the two ships. In the end, twenty-five pairs of names were published on the World of Costa website, where visitors were invited to choose their favorite pairing, and after more than 42,000 preferences expressed, in the end the names “Favolosa” and “Fascinosa” were the winners.
