Qualche mese fa, passeggiando lungo la salita dei Cappuccini nella baia del Silenzio di Sestri Levante, ho fotografato questo belduo di barche molto diverse tra loro.
In primo piano, al riparo nella insenatura della baia, un piccolo leudo mentre in lontananza un grande veliero solca il Mar Ligure.
Mi era piaciuto il contrasto.

A proposito di leudo vi lascio l’ultile link al sito della Associazione che ne tramanda la tradizione e che cura uno degli ultimi sopravvissuti, Il nuovo aiuto di Dio, a Sestri Levante: leudo.it.
Il leudo si presenta come una piccola nave di circa quindici metri di lunghezza con una capacità di carico di una trentina di tonnellate. La forma affusolata dello scafo gli permetteva, ad una epoca con porti ancora scarsi, di esser alato sulla spiaggia come di affrontare il mare aperto.

The rays of sunshine from Portobello.
After several days of constant rain, a couple of days ago we started to see some rays of sunshine even in Sestri Levante.
So I loaded my camera on my shoulders and went to take some photos in the Bay of Silence.
The rays of an almost setting sun, struggling to make their way through the clouds, filled my eyes!
I still have other photos, similar, that I will publish another time.

Tramonto a Sant’Anna con la mareggiata.
Ieri pomeriggio sono stato a scattare qualche foto alla mareggiata che stava (e sta tuttora) sferzando la costa della mia Sestri Levante.
Ero così a Sant’Anna, all’inizio di Lungomare Giovanni Descalzo, a realizzare il mio servizio fotografico quando il sole ha fatto capolino tra le nuvole e l’orizzonte.
Rossissimo e molto bello, non credete anche voi?

Dal porto di Sestri Levante.
Qualche tempo fa, ad inizio estate, ho scattato diverse foto in giro per la mia cittadina utilizzando un filtro che allunga il tempo di esposizione e mi sono divertito molto.
Come per questo scatto, realizzato dal porto sestrese, del muraglione che impedisce l’accesso alla Piscina dei Castelli e alla Capitaneria del porto.
Mi piace l’effetto scia delle onde.
