The famous Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
One of the attractions (but how many are there) of the beautiful city of Venice is the infamous Bridge of Sighs.
You can see it by walking on the pier of Piazza San Marco, being behind the Doge's Palace.
Obviously all the gondolas pass under it, even though the sighs of the lovers are very different from those exhaled by those who passed under it in the past.

Known globally, it is photographed by tourists from all over the world. It was given this name because tradition has it that, at the time of the Serenissima, prisoners, crossing it, sighed at the prospect of seeing the outside world for the last time.
