Not just strange food, in Thailand you can also find fruits that we also have… The only difference is that here on the street they squeeze them and sell you, for one euro, a bottle of very fresh and thirst-quenching juice.
The fruit itself, however, is truly a spectacle to see and photograph.

Pomegranate (Punica granatum, L.) is a plant belonging to the Punicaceae family (or Lythraceae according to the APG classification) and to the Punica genus, native to a geographical region that goes from Iran to the Himalayan area of northern India, and present since ancient times in the Caucasus and in the entire Mediterranean scrub. The fruit is called pomegranate and has been cultivated for many millennia.
