Every time I travel along the Via Aurelia I stop for a moment at the Santuario delle Grazie to enjoy the splendid view of the city of Chiavari and the Gulf of Tigullio di Levante.
A spectacle!

Here is where the Sanctuary is located:

The sanctuary of Nostra Signora delle Grazie is a Catholic place of worship located in the town of Grazie in the municipality of Chiavari, in the metropolitan city of Genoa. The building is located along the state road 1 Via Aurelia, in a stretch where the coast rises steeply above the sea, with a wooded slope. The sanctuary dominates the sea, and is still clearly visible to sailors today as in the past.

I really like night photos but I admit that I'm not that good at taking them.
First of all because I never have a tripod, and I always have to rest the camera on some object and then because I never have the patience to try and try again until I find the best settings.
Walking in the Baia delle Favole in Sestri Levante, one summer evening, I tried to take a couple of photos.

The charm of the massive Rapallo Castle.
Every time I visit Rapallo I can't help but take a couple of photos of the castle that dominates the entire promenade of the coastal city.
And every time I think of when in summer, for the patronal festivals, the castle is "burned"!

The castle on the sea is a defensive position in Rapallo, in the metropolitan city of Genoa, built to defend the body of water near the Vittorio Veneto seafront. It is also called a medieval castle with an incorrect definition since the construction dates back only to the second half of the 16th century.

In this photo, taken with a telephoto lens, you can see all of Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi from the fountain dedicated to Elena Bono (of which you can see the spray of water) to the statue of Christopher Columbus on the promenade.
One of the main driveways of the coastal city.

The Straight Alley of Chiavari

Il Caruggio Dritto di Chiavari, il cuore della città rivierasca.
Due passi in centro a Chiavari ed ovviamente com me la mia macchina fotografica con la quale ho deciso di fare questo scatto (appiattito volutamente) nel quale si vede gran parte del caruggio, la principale via pedonale della città del Tigullio.

Where is the alleyway located:

The historic center of Chiavari can be considered one of the best preserved and preserved areas of the entire Tigullio district. Its urban and architectural structure is in fact very different from other coastal municipalities, especially due to the numerous presence of medieval porticoes along the main street of the historic center - the Caruggio Dritto - (via Martiri della Liberazione and via Vittorio Veneto) - symbol par excellence of the bourgeois class from the second half of the 14th century.

La Baia del Silenzio di Sestri Levante in tutta la sua magnificenza.
Per cominciare bene il nuovo anno, a proposito: Buon Anno Nuovo a tutti!, ho deciso di postare questa splendida foto della Baia del Silenzio scattata la scorso maggio.
Questo è probabilmente il luogo che più amo fotografare ed ora che non sono a casa sogno di essere lì.

The view of Chiavari and the Gulf of Tigullio di Levante from the Santuario delle Grazie.
Some time ago, returning from Genoa along the Via Aurelia, I stopped at the Santuario della Madonna delle Grazie to admire and photograph the beautiful city of Chiavari from one of the most panoramic points there is.
I didn't have a telephoto lens but a 50mm fixed but the quality of the shots seemed good to me!

The beautiful seafront promenade of Zoagli, a beautiful village in Liguria.
One of the most beautiful seafront promenades in the Gulf of Tigullio is certainly that of Zoagli.
From the central beach you can walk, to the east or west for a few hundred meters, a few meters from the sea.
Here and there you can find some small inlets and pebble beaches where you can swim.
One of the routes (together with the promenade of Framura, which however is not in the Tigullio) not to be missed in the Levante Ligure.

Here is where the village beach is located:

A well-known and appreciated seaside resort, it is famous for its pedestrian cliff overlooking the sea, built in the 1930s with the economic contribution of the inhabitants; in the Zoagli area there are also several natural woodland paths, the characteristic Ligurian crêuze, and mule tracks that allow you to reach the hamlets and localities of the municipality from the city centre.

La Chiesa di San Lorenzo della Costa che domina il Tigullio Occidentale

La Chiesa di San Lorenzo della Costa che domina il Tigullio Occidentale.
Percorrendo la strada Aurelia nel tratto tra Rapallo e Recco si scavalla il Monte di Portofino e poco prima di arrivare nel punto più alto di passa nella piccola frazione di San Lorenzo la cui chiesa ed il campanile godono di una vista eccezionale.

Ecco dove si trova la frazione:

Distante all’incirca quattro chilometri dal centro urbano sammargheritese, la frazione collinare è situata a 198 metri sul livello del mare lungo uno sperone roccioso circondato da tipiche coltivazioni ad ulivi con la caratteristica tecnica ligure dei terrazzamenti.

The beautiful caruggio of Lavagna on the morning of September 12, 2023.
This morning I took a little stroll in Lavagna. To tell the truth, my visit was aimed at looking at a couple of shoe and clothing shops in the caruggio (via Roma).
I always like to take a walk in the center of this village.
