Wandering around the historic center of Chiavari I always come across something new to photograph.
Like the decorations of this beautiful building located in via Raggio at the height of the square of the church of San Giovanni in Rupinaro.
A fresco for each floor of this elegant building.

It is certainly not the most famous alley in Chiavari but here too there are some splendid arcades.
This is also a street parallel to the Caruggio Dritto on the mountain side.

Giuseppe Raggio (Chiavari, May 24, 1823 – Rome, October 21, 1916) was an Italian painter. Born in Chiavari, to Nicolò and Maria Sanguineti, he studied at the Nautical Institute and obtained the patent of Captain of long course. He soon abandoned his career as a naval officer and exhibited his first pictorial works in Genoa.

At the intersection of Salita Levaggi and the beginning of Via Giuseppe Raggio is one of the most beautiful and important hotels in the city of Chiavari.
The photo is only of the exterior which however represents the typical Chiavari building with the portico and a votive shrine on the facade.

Gli affreschi sulla facciata di un palazzo a Chiavari.
Passeggiando per il bel centro storico della città di Chiavari, quasi ogni volta, poso lo sguardo (e di conseguenza l’obiettivo della mia macchinina fotografica) su qualche punto che non avevo mai visto prima.
Come questi bei affreschi sulla facciata di un palazzo (se non ricordo male in via Giuseppe Raggio) all’altezza del sagrato della Chiesa di San Giovanni.
