Every self-respecting Ligurian city or village has its own carrugio. This is the one in Lavagna which, toponymically speaking, is called via Roma.

The decorated facade of a building in the alleyway in Rapallo.
A few months ago I armed myself with a camera and decided to take as many photos as possible in the city of Rapallo, determined to fill a gap in my website.
Walking along the alleyway my attention fell on the facade of this building decorated with five bas-reliefs (or high-reliefs, it's still hard for me to tell the difference) in terracotta.
Since I'm even struggling to understand their meaning (I think one has a religious background) I decided to post the photo here and ask you.

The beautiful caruggio of Lavagna, which in reality toponically is called via Roma, with its beautiful buildings and little shops that still let you breathe the air of the small Ligurian seaside village.
