The archivolt of via Garibaldi in Sestri Levante.
One of the points of the historic center of Sestri Levante that I love to photograph is this beautiful archivolt that I know is located in the small street that connects vico Lombardo to piazza Matteotti.
As several visitors wrote to me in another post (qui) the alley was also called "caruggiu de l'ou" (alley of gold) since there were warehouses of manganese (coming from the Libiola mine) from which they were loaded onto ships for England.

A characteristic alley of Sestri Levante: vico Lombardo.
The small historic center of Sestri, which goes more or less from the church of Santa Maria di Nazareth to Corso Colombo, is very pretty and apart from the famous caruggio it also offers many other views.
This, for example, is the alley (vico) that connects the caruggio to the seafront promenade and the Baia delle Favole.

Il piccolo vico Marina di Ponente a Sestri Levante.
Passeggiando per la bella Sestri Levante si possono sempre scoprire angoli nuovi.
Questo per esempio è uno scorcio del centro storico, una traversa di Vico Lombardo tra Passeggiata a mare e Carrugio.
Quasi tutti l’avranno già vista questa vietta anche perché lì in fondo c’è una delle case delle viti di cui ho già postato qualche articolo.
