When the season and the climate allow it, I love to travel along the Aurelia from Genoa to Sestri Levante observing the splendid panoramas and also the splendid villas that can be observed.
Like this beautiful little villa with this immense bougainvillea plant next to it that I photographed going down to the village of Camogli.

Bougainvillea Comm. ex Juss., 1789 is a genus of plants in the Nyctaginaceae family, native to South America. The plant was discovered in 1768 in Brazil by Jeanne Baret, assistant, nurse and lover of Philibert Commerçon, official botanist in the expedition of Louis Antoine De Bougainville. Baret was also on board because she was an expert botanist in agreement with the commander, dressed as a man. The plant was named in honor of the commander.

A beautiful villa in via della Chiusa in Sestri Levante.
Every time I walk along via della Chiusa, in the center of my Sestri Levante, in addition to the beautiful Casa delle Viti (of which I have already left you many photos and posts) my attention always falls on this beautiful villa that dominates the final part of the small mountain that descends to the sea. Who knows if you can see the sea from its windows…

He was an admiral of the Royal Navy and Minister of the Navy of the Kingdom of Italy. He was decorated with the gold medal for military valor. He was born in Chiavari in 1865 to Gustavo Millo of the Counts of Casalgiate and Maria Luisa Altoè of the Counts Anguissola di Altoè.

Corso Buenos Aires, in Lavagna, is that long tree-lined avenue that goes from the center to Entella and Chiavari.
It hosts the most beautiful houses and villas in the Tigullian city.
Like this beautiful building, whose name I don't know, however.

A beautiful villa with sea view in Pieve Ligure.
Some time ago, when for personal reasons I traveled many times on my scooter along the Aurelia road from Genoa to my Sestri Levante, I took many photos of the places along the road.
As in this case I found this beautiful villa, which overlooks the sea in one of the most beautiful spots of the whole road.
I really liked the decoration of the facade.

Una bella villetta in via Petronio a Riva Trigoso.
Tutte le volte che passeggio lungo la via che costeggia il torrente Petronio la mia attenzione si posa sempre su questa bella villetta molto carina.
Sulla facciata ci sono diversi stemmi che mi incuriosiscono ma non ne so nulla a riguardo.

Un bel palazzo in Corso Angelo Gianelli a Chiavari.
Percorrendo questo bel viale di Chiavari, dopo la stazione verso Ponente, ci sono una serie di palazzi dall’aspetto nobiliare e molto curati.
Mi piacerebbe saperne molto di più ma non ne trovo molto online.
