The small port of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre
The small harbor of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre.
Another beautiful photo of the pearl of the Cinque Terre: Vernazza.
This is the most classic shot of the small village. Arriving from Monterosso along the Sentiero Azzurro, a few hundred meters from the finish line, there are several vantage points for this shot.
As you can see, I’ve already taken several similar photos, but I never tire of them!

Here’s where Vernazza is located:
Coming from the west, Vernazza is the second of the Cinque Terre villages, in a bay between the municipalities of Monterosso al Mare and Riomaggiore. It also includes the next village, Corniglia, a hamlet. Its territory is also characterized by the typical terraces used for growing grapes, a morphological style that, according to one estimate, extends over 7,000 km of dry stone walls.
